In front of a packed house at RHS Stadium the 8th Grade Raiders put on a defensive clinic! Lead by defensive lineman Johnny Bright and Keyshaun Slaughter the Raiders blanked the visiting Panthers for a 52-0 victory.
Brandon “Baby Ocho” Weatherspoon had not one but two pick sixes and the Stingy team wide effort showed why the Raiders have been so tough this year.
Behind the arm and running ability of quarterback Dijon Jennings the offense put up some major highlights! Jennings connected with Savian Torrence for the Raiders longest play from scrimmage while running back J’Veon Edwards blew past the Lakeview defense for the longest running play of the game. Zion Jackson started the onslaught with a 40 plus yard Touchdown run.
With only 1 more game waiting in the wings the Raiders long to end the season successfully with traveling to Blendon next Thursday.
